POLLYWOGS POLICIES
Cancellations: Pollywogs reserves the right to cancel a class session due to low enrollment. All registered families will be notified and given the option to join another existing class, a credit for future use or a refund.
If a class within a session is cancelled by Pollywogs, an additional class will be added at the end of the semester. If you are unable to attend, you will be offered a pro-rated refund or a credit toward a drop-in class pass.
Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued for cancellations prior to the first class of the semester.
After the first class of the semester, a refund of 50% of the remaining classes will be given for cancellations within the first two weeks of the semester.
There are no refunds after the beginning of week three.
Credit towards future classes/semesters or refunds will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Snacks: Please refrain from having your child eat snacks during the class. This will help us avoid allergy issues and snack envy.
Illness: Please do not bring your child to class if they are ill. If your child has fever, any contagious symptoms or has vomited due to illness within the last 24 hours please schedule a make up class.
Inclement Weather: Pollywogs Music will follow the Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District schedule with regard to weather cancellations. Semester extensions due to these cancellations will be confirmed via email.
Make-Up Classes: If you wish to schedule a make up class, please contact the Pollywogs Music office to inquire about space availability.
Photography/Videography: As you are aware, there are many great photo and video opportunities to capture your little one having fun. It is possible that these photos may be used on the Pollywogs Music website. (Children are never identified by name). All photos used for publicity will be available for the child’s parents to review, and parents can request that images of their child not be used for publicity. Thank you for helping Pollywogs show other families how much fun our classes are!
Class Participation: Finally, and most importantly, sing, dance, clap and have fun! Children are most at ease when their caregiver is participating as well. It gives them a sense of confidence that enhances the social and emotional value of the class.
